  • The Rainbow Pseudochromis is a rare and beautiful pseudochromis. Rainbow Pseudochromis have a long slender body with multi-coloration. There are strong hints of white, black and yellow on its body.

    Rainbow Pseudochromis reach a maximum adult size of around 3 inches and can be kept in tanks as small as 29 gallons. Rainbow Pseudochromis are mostly peaceful fish that shouldn’t bother other fish, coral or inverts in a reef tank. Rainbow Pseudochromis can be aggressive towards other pseudochromis though.

    Rainbow Pseudochromis are decent jumpers and should only be kept in tanks that have a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked. Having a lot of live rock is also good for the Rainbow Pseudochromis, since it will have places to hide if it feels threatened. Rainbow Pseudochromis should not be kept with large aggressive fish, since they would not be able to defend themselves.

    Rainbow Pseudochromis are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp or high quality frozen foods will help keep your Rainbow Pseudochromis healthy and happy.
