The Berghia Nudibranch is a stunning and extremely useful invert. Berghia Nudibranchs have a mostly tan to white body covered in many tentacles.

Berghia Nudibranchs only reach a maximum adult size of under 1 inch and need to be kept in tanks that are around 10 gallons. Berghia Nudibranchs are peaceful creatures and will not bother other inverts, fish or coral in your tank. This makes a Berghia Nudibranch a great addition to your reef tank.

Berghia Nudibranchs are typically bought to take care of aiptasia anemone outbreaks in tanks. The Berghia Nudibranch will make short work of all aiptasia and leave pretty much everything else alone. The Berghia Nudibranch is by far the most effective way to eliminate aiptasia from your tank. The problem then arises with keeping the Berghia Nudibranch alive after all the aiptasia has been removed. The diet of the Berghia Nudibranch is made up almost completely of aiptasia anemones. Once your aiptasia has been wiped out, it is probably best to find another local aquarist that needs Berghia Nudibranch to get rid of aiptasia in their tank. This cycle should be continued to make sure that the Berghia Nudibranch you purchase stay alive.

If you have any questions about the Berghia Nudibranch and if it's the right invert for your tank, please feel free to contact us at any time.
