  • The Acan Brain Coral is a stunning and super colorful brain coral. Acan Brain Corals have mostly red polyps with green borders. Acan Brain Corals grow in a mostly outward encrusting manner.

    Acan Brain Corals should be placed at the bottom to middle areas of your tank. They do best with moderate lighting and low flow rates. After you have placed your Acan Brain Coral, watch for any signs of stress. If you witness any stress, simply move your Acan Brain Coral a few inches until it seems to be doing better.

    Acan Brain Corals are semi-aggressive corals and will often sting any coral neighbor that it can reach with its sweeper tentacles at night. For this reason, never place a Acan Brain Coral too close to a coral neighbor. Remember this when placing your Acan Brain Coral, and also give it room to grow.

    Acan Brain Corals get most of their nutrition through photosynthesis as well as from the water column. If you would like to supplement the diet of a Acan Brain Coral, simply feed the tank meaty foods like mysis and brine shrimp as well as micro-plankton. You can also target feed Acan Brain Corals.
