The Brain Coral is one of the most common and popular corals kept in home reef aquariums. Brain Coral are normally fairly hardy and do well in even beginner reef keepers tanks.

Brain Corals come in a huge variety of shades and colors, from reds to metallic greens. Most Brain Corals do extremely well in tanks or areas of the tank were the flow and lighting are both moderate. They do well under both metal halides and LED lights as well.

Brain Corals do best when placed lower in your reef tank to avoid super intense lighting and stronger flow. When placing Brain Corals, make sure you leave some room between them and their neighboring corals, so there will be no chance of the Brain Coral stinging its neighbor.

Brain Corals feed off of the water column and shouldn’t require much if any additional feedings. It is not a bad idea to keep your calcium and other trace elements levels at a good level to ensure your Brain Coral will thrive.

Please make sure you pay close attention to the item options drop down when ordering your Brain Coral, to make sure you select the color Brain Coral that you are after.
