  • Lobophyllia Brain Coral is a stunning coral which is relatively easy to keep and makes a great coral for both beginner and advanced aquarists. Lobophyllia Brain Coral go by many names including Lobo, Carpet and Lobed Brain Coral.

    Lobophyllia Brain Coral are found in a huge array of both colors and textures, from pink to orange and green. For the most part Lobophyllia Brain Coral require a moderate amount of flow and don’t do as well in high or low flow areas of your tank. They prefer to have moderate to intense lighting, and can be placed anywhere in the tank where flow and lighting requirements are met.

    Lobophyllia Brain Coral rely on photosynthesis to grow and thrive, and will get additional food through the water column. Little to no addition feeding should be required. Lobophyllia Brain Coral are somewhat aggressive to other coral species, so there should be enough room between it and its neighbors to avoid it stinging its neighbor.
