The Bubble Coral is an interesting and beautiful LPS (Large Polyp Stony) coral. Bubble Corals have a hard skeleton and large polyps that expand and look like bubbles, hence the name.

Bubble Corals are rather hardy corals and make a good choice for beginner aquarists. Bubble Corals need to be placed either at the bottom or towards the middle of your tank. They require moderate lighting and low to moderate flow rates. If you have placed your Bubble Coral in your desired location and it doesn’t look happy after a few days, simply move it slightly until it finds a place it likes and will expand.

Bubble Corals are aggressive corals and will send out long tentacles at night that will attack its neighboring corals. It is advised to give Bubble Corals plenty of room between it and its neighbors also including room for it to grow.

Bubble Corals do not require much additional feeding, but if you feel like you’d like to give it a bit more nutrition you can add small meaty foods like baby brine-shrimp and micro-plankton to the tank at night.

Bubble Corals come in a wide varieties of colors, please make sure you select the color you desire from the item options drop down list. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions about Bubble Corals and if they are the right coral for your system.
