The Multicolor Angelfish is a stunning angel with various coloration including whites, blues, yellows and oranges. It is a smaller angelfish that can be kept in smaller aquariums of at least 55 gallons.

The Multicolor Angel has a white body, with its upper head being black with blue stripes. The belly is a rusty orange color with a yellow tail. The fins of the Multicolor Angel are black with electric blue highlights. Given its amazing coloration, it’s no wonder why the Multicolor Angel is so popular with aquarists.

The Multicolor Angel is best kept as the only dwarf angels is smaller tanks, since they can be aggressive and territorial to similar species. In large tanks, it should be ok to keep multiple dwarf angels together. It is not the best idea to keep the Multicolor Angelfish in reef aquariums, since it can nip and pick at hard and soft corals, although some people have kept them with no issues in reef tanks.

Being an omnivore, the Multicolor Angelfish should be fed a diet rich in mysis shrimp, Spirulina and algae. Having lots of established rock will help a Multicolor Angel get used to life in an aquarium with plenty of algae to graze on and lots of hiding places if they get spooked.
