The Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish is a very interesting take on the common clownfish. Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish have a completely black body with an orange face. Sometimes Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish will have various other orange spots on their bodies.

Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish reach a maximum size of around 3 inches and can be kept in tanks as small as 20 gallons. Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish are very peaceful fish and will get along with all fish found in a reef tank. Aggression will sometimes show itself when more than a pair of clownfish are present in smaller aquariums. Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish are reef safe and will leave inverts and coral alone.

Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish do best when housed in an aquarium that has an anemone for them to host in. Anemones provide protection to Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish from larger more aggressive fish that will get stung by the anemone.

Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet rich in both meaty and green foods. They are not picky eaters, but foods such as mysis and brine shrimp and high quality frozen and pellet foods will help your Midnight Ocellaris Clownfish stay healthy and thrive.
