The Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish is a stunning designer clownfish. Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish resemble normal Ocellaris Clownfish, but have unique white markings over their base orange color. Since no two Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish look exactly the same, they were given the name snowflake.

Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish grow to around 3 inches a fully grown adults, and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 20 gallons in size. Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish are reef safe fish and will not bother other fish, coral or inverts found in reef tanks. Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish are best kept in mated pairs, and can be aggressive to odd numbers of non-paired clownfish.

Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfishs thrive in tanks that have an anemone for them to host in. Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish find protection from larger more aggressive fish when hosting in an anemone. Larger fish are not immune to the anemones’ sting and will leave the clownfish alone.

Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet both rich in meaty and green foods. Foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, high quality frozen food and high quality flake and pellet foods are best for Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish and will help them grow and thrive.
