The Orange Honey Damsel is a very colorful and active little damselfish. Orange Honey Damsels have a mostly orange body with a strong blue horizontal stripe just about their eyes.

Orange Honey Damsels reach a maximum adult size of around 4 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 40 gallons in size. Orange Honey Damsels are semi-aggressive fish that shouldn't bother too many other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes the Orange Honey Damsel a great fish to add to reef tanks. Orange Honey Damsels are also very hardy fish, making them a good fish for beginner aquarists.

Orange Honey Damsels will be aggressive to other damsels and clownfish in smaller tanks. In larger tanks, small groups of Orange Honey Damsels can be kept together. Orange Honey Damsels will often be aggressive towards new fish additions as well, so take that into account when adding a Orange Honey Damsel to your tank.

Orange Honey Damsels are aggressive eaters and not picky about their foods. Orange Honey Damsels are omnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty and green foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Orange Honey Damsel healthy and happy.

If you have any questions about the Orange Honey Damsel and if it's the right fish for your tank, please feel free to contact us at any time.
