The Falco Hawkfish is an amazingly colorful and unique hawkfish. Falco Hawkfish are white with very red and brown sports along its body. The Falco Hawkfish also have interestingly shaped ends on their dorsal fin.

Falco Hawkfish reach a fully grown mature size of 3 inches and can be kept in aquariums as small as 29 gallons. The Falco Hawkfish will bother smaller fish and inverts like crabs and shrimp. For this reason you need to proceed with caution if you want to add one to your reef tank. Falco Hawkfish should not be kept with overly aggressive larger fish though. Otherwise the Falco Hawkfish makes a really good and unique addition to a reef tank.

The Falco Hawkfish really like to have lots of rock to perch on and hide in if they feel threatened. Falco Hawkfish are carnivores and need a diet rich in meaty foods. Foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, frozen meaty foods and feeder shrimp will help your Falco Hawkfish stay healthy and flourish in your tank.
