    Clown Triggerfish are some of the most attractive and uniquely colored fish available for home aquariums. The Clown Triggerfish has a black body with various white polka dots and yellow spots and mouth.

    Clown Triggerfish can reach a fully grown size of 20 inches and need to be housed in an aquarium no smaller than 300 gallons. Clown Triggerfish are not considered reef safe since they will attack smaller fish and eat all the inverts that are essential to keeping a healthy reef tank.

    Clown Triggerfish should be housed with other large semi-aggressive to aggressive fish in a fish only system. Clown Triggerfish are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods such as krill, clams, shrimp and squid. Clown Triggerfish also need hard shelled meals to grind down their large teeth.

    Clown Triggerfish have been known to move aquascapes around, so much sure your rock work is very firm and in place well. If you can provide the right sized aquarium and tank mates, the Clown Triggerfish can be a great fish to add to your fish only tank.
