The Radiant Wrasse is a very colorful and useful wrasse to keep in your aquarium. Radiant Wrasses have a mostly black body with strong red outlining. They have a very bright face that is yellow with green and orange markings.

Radiant Wrasses reach a maximum adult size of around 4 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 55 gallons in size. Radiant Wrasses are strong jumpers and need to be kept in tanks that have a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked. Radiant Wrasses are peaceful fish that shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes them a great choice for reef tanks.

Radiant Wrasses will eat various problematic inverts found in tanks like fireworms and pyramidellid snails. Radiant Wrasses will spend most of their days picking at live rock and sand for little inverts to eat between feedings. Radiant Wrasses also require a tank with a sand bed for them to burrow in. Without a sand bed, the Radiant Wrasse will become stressed and possibly ill.

Radiant Wrasses are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and frozen foods will help your Radiant Wrasse grow and thrive.
