  • Description
  • The Whisker Coral is a stunning and super colorful LPS (Large Polyp Stony) coral. Whisker Corals have very colorful polyps with long whiskers coming off of them. They are found in a few colors, but green is the most common.

    Whisker Corals should be placed in the bottom to middle of your aquarium and do best with low to moderate water flow and lighting. When you place your Whisker Coral in your desired location just monitor it for a few days. If you don't see good extension, just move the coral slightly until you see good extension.

    Whisker Corals are mostly peaceful corals and shouldn't bother nearby corals. This makes the Whisker Coral a great coral to put mixed in with other peaceful corals in a garden.

    Whisker Corals get most of their needed nutrition through photosynthesis, so there isn't much need to feed them. If you would like to add to your Whisker Corals diet, just feed meaty foods like mysis and brine shrimp or micro-plankton during the evening hours.
