  • The Blue Xenia is a stunning blue coral that makes a great addition to most reef tanks. Blue Xenia are mostly blue to tan in color and grow in a branching manner with elegant polyps.

    Blue Xenias can be placed anywhere in the tank and enjoy both moderate water flow and lighting. Once you place your Blue Xenia, watch for signs of stress after a day or two. If you see any signs that your Blue Xenia is stressed, simply move it slightly until you see better polyp extension.

    Blue Xenias are pretty peaceful coral and shouldn't sting nearby coral neighbors. Blue Xenias can get fairly large, so take note of this when placing a Blue Xenia in your tank. You can make a truly stunning aquascape with a Blue Xenia surrounded by other peaceful corals.

    Blue Xenias get most of their nutritional needs from your lighting and shouldn't need much additional food. Blue Xenias will benefit from having trace elements put back in the tank by water changes or by dosing.
