The Arrowhead Basslet is a very rare and not often seen Basslet in home aquariums. Arrowhead Basslets are found in the Coral Sea and area mostly a greenish blue in coloration with various black markings.

Arrowhead Basslets reach a maximum adult size of around 6 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 75 gallons in size. Arrowhead Basslets are semi-aggressive fish and will try to eat smaller inverts and might be very aggressive towards smaller more docile fish. For these reasons you must proceed with caution if you want to add a Arrowhead Basslet to your reef tank.

If you would like to keep more than one Arrowhead Basslet in your tank, make sure you tank is at least 125 gallons in size. Arrowhead Basslets are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, small pieces of fresh seafood like shrimp, scallops, clams and fish as well as high quality meaty frozen foods will keep your Arrowhead Basslet happy and thriving.

Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions about the Arrowhead Basslet and if it's the right fish for your tank.
