  • The Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish is one of the most stunning of all the designer clownfish. Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish have a mostly orange body with three strong white vertical stripes. The stripes are always different from one Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish to another.

    Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish reach a maximum size of around 3 inches and need to be housed in tanks that are at least 20 gallons. Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish are peaceful fish and do fine in reef tanks where they will not bother other fish, coral or inverts in the tank. Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish can be aggressive to other non-mated (paired) clownfish though.

    Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish are able to live in anemones and their thick slime coats keep them from getting stung. Anemones provide clownfish protection from more aggressive large fish that might get stung by its tentacles.

    Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish are aggressive eaters and are not picky. Black Ice Ocellaris Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet rich in both meaty and green foods.
