  • The Onyx Picasso Clownfish is a very colorful and rare clownfish. Onyx Picasso Clowns have a mostly bright orange body with strong white markings and their center is black.

    Onyx Picasso Clownfish reach a maximum adult size of around 3 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 20 gallons in size. Onyx Picasso Clownfish are semi-aggressive fish but shouldn't bother most coral, inverts of fish in your tank. This makes the Onyx Picasso Clownfish great fish to add to your reef tank.

    In smaller tanks Onyx Picasso Clownfish might be aggressive towards other clowns and damsels. Onyx Picasso Clowns do great in a pair or singularly as well. Onyx Picasso Clownfish will want to be kept with an anemone that they can host in. The thick slime coat of the Onyx Picasso Clownfish will protect it from the sting of the anemone, while larger predatory fish will be stung by the anemone and stay away from the clownfish.

    Onyx Picasso Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet that is rich in both green and meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Onyx Picasso Clownfish healthy and happy. Onyx Picasso Clownfish are also very aggressive eaters who are not picky about their food.
