The Allen's Damsel is a stunning and super colorful damsel. Allen's Damsels have a mostly fully electric blue body with yellow on their bellies and slightly white tail.

Allen's Damsels reach a maximum adult size of around 2 inches and should only be kept in tanks that are at least 29 gallons in size. Allen's Damsels are semi-aggressive fish but shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes them a good addition to reef tanks. The Allen's Damsel will add a nice dash of color to your tank.

Allen's Damselfish might be somewhat aggressive to other damsels in smaller tanks. For this reason if you'd like to keep multiple Allen's Damsels in one tank, make sure it is fairly large. Allen's Damselfish do best in tanks with lots of live rock for them to hide in if they feel threatened. Allen's Damsels should not be kept in larger overly aggressive fish either.

Allen's Damselfish are omnivores and need to be feed a diet that is rich in both meaty and green foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Allen's Damselfish healthy and happy.

Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions about the Allen's Damsel and if it's the right fish for your tank.
