  • The Zebra Barred Dartfish is a very colorful and interesting dartfish. Zebra Barred Dartfish have a mostly white body with strong orange vertical stripes.

    Zebra Barred Dartfish reach a maximum adult size of around 5 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 40 gallons in size. Zebra Barred Dartfish are strong jumpers and should only be kept in tanks with a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked. Zebra Barred Dartfish are peaceful fish and shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. For this reason Zebra Barred Dartfish make great additions to reef tanks.

    Zebra Barred Dartfish can be kept with other dartfish, but should be introduced at the same time and have plenty of space to claim as their own territory. Zebra Barred Dartfish do very well in tanks with lots of live rock and sand for them to hide in and search for small inverts to eat between feedings.

    Zebra Barred Dartfish are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Zebra Barred Dartfish healthy and happy.
