The Filamented Gudgeon Goby is a stunning and elegant goby. Filamented Gudgeon Gobies have a mostly brilliant blue body with a long and elegant tail.

Filamented Gudgeon Gobies reach a maximum adult size of around 5 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 40 gallons in size. Filamented Gudgeon Gobies are peaceful fish and shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. For this reason, the Filamented Gudgeon Goby is a great fish to have in reef tanks. Filamented Gudgeon Gobies are strong jumpers and need to be kept in tanks with a tight fitting hood with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked.

Filamented Gudgeon Gobies should not be kept larger overly aggressive fish, or fish that like to nip at fins. Filamented Gudgeon Gobies should also be kept in tanks with lots of live rock and sand in them. Filamented Gudgeon Gobies will spend most of their days going through the rock looking for small inverts to eat and will need to burrow in the sand.

Filamented Gudgeon Gobies are carnivores and require a die that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Filamented Gudgeon Goby healthy and happy.
