  • The Hi Fin Red Banded Goby is a stunning and unique goby. Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies have a long and slender body that is mostly white and has a few strong diagonal brown stripes and a yellow head.

    Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies reach a maximum size of around 2 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 10 gallons in size. Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies are peaceful fish and will only be aggressive to the same species in smaller tanks. If you want two Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies, make sure they are a pair. Other fish, coral and inverts should be left alone by the Hi Fin Red Banded Goby, making it a great choice for reef tanks.

    Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies do well in tanks with lots of live rock and a decent depth sand bed. Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies will pick around the rock for small inverts to eat and hide in the rock work if threatened. Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies are also burrowers, so a sand bed is a must. Hi Fin Red Banded Gobies will form a symbiotic relationship with some pistol shrimp as well and share a burrow.
