  • The Geometric Pygmy Hawk is a stunning and rarely seen perchlet. Geometric Pygmy Hawks have a mostly white body covered in orange to white patterns.

    Geometric Pygmy Hawks reach a maximum size of around 2 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 29 gallons in size. Geometric Pygmy Hawk are semi-aggressive fish and might be aggressive to smaller more docile fish. Geometric Pygmy Hawks should get along fine with other fish, inverts and corals though. This makes them a great choice for reef tanks.

    Geometric Pygmy Hawks do the best when kept in aquariums with lots of live rock for them to perch on and search between feedings for small inverts to eat. Geometric Pygmy Hawks will also hide in live rock if they feel threatened.

    Geometric Pygmy Hawks are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, small pieces of fresh seafood and high quality meaty frozen foods will keep your Geometric Pygmy Hawk healthy and thriving.
