  • Description
  • The Bicolor Foxface is a unique and interesting rabbitfish. Bicolor Foxfaces have a mostly black body with the back of its body covered in brilliant yellow. Bicolor Foxfaces also have a strong white marking under their jaw.

    Bicolor Foxfaces reach a maximum adult size of 9 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 90 gallons. Bicolor Foxfaces are peaceful fish and will get along with most other fish. Bicolor Foxfaces will be very aggressive to other rabbitfish though.

    Bicolor Foxfaces have also been pick at some fleshy corals and will also nip at SPS corals. Some people have had luck keeping Bicolor Foxfaces in reef tanks, but it’s really up to the individual fish’s personality with how reef safe it’ll be. If you plan on adding a Bicolor Foxface to your reef tank, then you must proceed with caution.

    Bicolor Foxfaces are herbivores and require a diet that is rich in green foods. Foods like nori, marine algae sheets and high quality flake foods will keep your Bicolor Foxface healthy and thriving.
