  • The Yellow Lined Sweetlips is an interesting and rarely seen sweetlips. Yellow Lined Sweetlips have a long slender body which is mostly white with thick black horizontal stripes which are highlighted with yellow coloration.

    Yellow Lined Sweetlips are large fish and will reach a fully grown adult site of around 16 inches. They need to be housed in aquariums that are at least 180 gallons in size. The Yellow Lined Sweetlips is a peaceful fish that will not bother other larger fish.

    Smaller fish and inverts might be eaten or harassed by Yellow Lined Sweetlips, which makes them not the best fish to add to a reef tank. In large FOWLR tanks, the Yellow Lined Sweetlips can make a beautiful addition to the tank.

    Yellow Lined Sweetlips are carnivores and need a diet rich in meaty foods. Yellow Lined Sweetlips sometimes do not eat well when first introduced to aquariums. Foods such as live feeder shrimp will help get your Yellow Lined Sweetlips eating. After the Yellow Lined Sweetlips are used to life an aquarium, they will eat foods such as chunks of high quality fresh and frozen seafood.
