  • Description
  • The Undulate Triggerfish is a beautiful triggerfish, but it has the reputation for being the most aggressive of all triggers. Undulate Triggerfish have an amazing green body with various blue and orange stripes running along its body.

    Undulate Triggerfish can reach adult sizes of over 12 inches and should only be kept in tanks that are at least 125 gallons. Undulate Triggerfish are extremely aggressive fish and should really only be kept by themselves in most tanks. Some very aggressive fish like moray eels might be able to be kept with Undulate Triggerfish. Most other fish will be eaten or attacked by Undulate Triggers.

    Undulate Triggerfish like to be kept in tanks with lots of swimming room and plenty of live rock. Undulate Triggers like to hide and create caves in live rock, and will often retreat to the rock work if they feel spooked or nervous.

    Undulate Triggers are carnivores and need a diet rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis shrimp, krill and chunks of high quality seafood like squid, clam, shrimp and fish will keep your Undulate Triggerfish nice and healthy.
