  • The Eightline Flasher Wrasse is a stunning and very active wrasse. Eightline Flasher Wrasses have a mostly red body with some strong orange hues. Male Eightline Flasher Wrasses tend to be more colorful with strong blue horizontal lines running the length of its body.

    Eightline Flasher Wrasses reach a maximum adult size of around 4 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 55 gallons in size. Eightline Flasher Wrasses are peaceful fish and shouldn't bother other fish, corals or inverts in your tank. This makes the Eightline Flasher Wrasse a great addition to reef tanks.

    Eightline Flasher Wrasses are strong jumpers and should only be kept in tanks with a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked. Multiple Eightline Flasher Wrasses can be kept together if there is only one or no males in the tank. Eightline Flasher Wrasses will thrive in tanks that have lots of live rock for them to hide in if threatened and also lets them pick at small inverts between feedings.

    Eightline Flasher Wrasses are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Eightline Flasher Wrasse healthy and happy.
