  • The Pink-Streaked Wrasse is a stunning smaller species of wrasse. The Pink-Streaked Wrasse has a mostly pink body with blue markings and yellow horizontal stripes. Male Pink-Streaked Wrasses have strong yellow lines and are a little more colorful.

    Pink-Streaked Wrasses reach a maximum size of just over 2 inches and can be kept in tanks as small as 29 gallons. Since Pink-Streaked Wrasses are passive and peaceful fish, it is a big help to them if they have lots of live rock to hide in if they feel threatened. Pink-Streaked Wrasses tend to be jumpers, so it’s important to have a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked.

    Pink-Streaked Wrasse are completely reef safe fish and tend to get along with all other fish. They will also not bother coral or inverts found in reef tanks. Pink-Streaked Wrasses do have the tendency to get chased by other larger and more aggressive wrasses though.

    Pink-Streaked Wrasses are carnivores and need a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods such as mysis and brine shrimp as well as high quality frozen meaty foods are preferred by Pink-Streaked Wrasses.
