  • The White Banded Possum Wrasse is an interesting and colorful smaller wrasse. White Banded Possum Wrasses have a mostly red body with various white stripes and black eye spots.

    White Banded Possum Wrasses reach a maximum adult size of around 3 inches and need to be houses in a tank that is at least 20 gallons in size. White Banded Possum Wrasses are strong jumpers and will jump if spooked. For this reason please try to keep them in a tank with a tight fitting lid and no holes large enough for them to jump through.

    White Banded Possum Wrasses are peaceful and should not bother other fish, inverts or coral in your tank. This makes them a great fish for reef tanks. White Banded Possum Wrasses are peaceful fish and should not be kept with more aggressive fish. White Banded Possum Wrasses do best in tanks with lots of live rock and sand present. White Banded Possum Wrasses will spend their entire day picking at little inverts off of the rock and in the sand bed.

    White Banded Possum Wrasses are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods. Foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake foods will keep your White Banded Possum Wrasse happy and healthy.
