  • The Jelly Blubber is a stunning and large jellyfish. Jelly Blubbers are mostly found in the Indo-Pacific Ocean mainly in the shallow waters off of Australia. Jelly Blubbers can vary in color from a light tan to a brilliant blue and many hues in between.

    Jelly Blubber Jellyfish can reach a maximum adult size of around 18 inches. Jelly Blubbers are mostly peaceful jellyfish and shouldn't bother many other creatures in your tank.

    Jelly Blubber Jellyfish like most jellyfish need to be kept in specialized tanks made for jellyfish. Jelly Blubbers require a specific flow pattern and can be killed by powerheads, pumps and even overflows. Needing such a tailored tank means that you should really only keep Jelly Blubbers with other jellyfish or their own kind. Naturally this makes the Jelly Blubber a bad addition to reef and fish only tanks. Jelly Blubbers are also very hard to care for and should only be attempted by the most expert of aquarists or those who have had experience with the species.

    Jelly Blubber Jellyfish are carnivores and require a diet of tiny meaty foods. Foods like plankton and tiny inverts are necessary for your Jelly Blubber to survive and thrive.
