  • The Cabbage Leather Coral is an interesting and very elegant coral. It can make a great addition to a beginner’s reef tank as well as an advanced reef keeper.

    Cabbage Leather Coral has the appearance of a head of cabbage and comes in a variety of colors from tan to green. Cabbage Leather Coral tend to like both moderate to high flow rates and lighting and can be placed anywhere in the aquarium. Just make sure that where the Cabbage Leather Coral is placed, that both its lighting and flow requirements are needed. After a few days, if the coral doesn’t look happy, try placing it in a different area of the tank.

    It is best to place Cabbage Leather Coral in an area where it can grow and not have the chance of competing with a neighboring coral for territory. Cabbage Leather Coral get most of their nutrition from photosynthesis. They will also get additional nutrients from the water column, little to no supplemental feeding should be needed.
