Description
The Giant Cup Mushroom is a stunning and extremely large mushroom coral. Giant Cup Mushroom corals grow low and outward encrusting over your rock work. Giant Cup Mushrooms come in a host of colors from green to tan, so please make sure you select the color you want when adding one to your cart.

Giant Cup Mushroom corals reach sizes in excess of 12 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 90 gallons in size. Giant Cup Mushrooms will often eat fish that get to close to them. For this reason, it is recommended that you do not keep a Giant Cup Mushroom in tanks with fish. Giant Cup Mushrooms should be placed at the middle to bottom of your tank, preferably on the substrate. Giant Cup Mushrooms require both moderate water flow and lighting. After you have placed your Giant Cup Mushroom, watch for any signs of stress. If you notice any stress, simply move your Giant Cup Mushroom slightly and watch for improvement.

Giant Cup Mushrooms are semi-aggressive coral and will often bother and attack any coral neighbors that are too close. For this reason and for how large the Giant Cup Mushroom gets, make sure that there is plenty of room between it and its nearest coral neighbor and allow room for growth.

Giant Cup Mushroom are carnivores and get most of their nutrition through the water column and also through photosynthesis. If you would like to supplement the diet of your Giant Cup Mushroom, you can feed foods like mysis and brine shrimp as well as plankton to the tank in the evening hours.
