  • Mushroom Corals are generally very easily corals to care for, making them a great choice for beginners. Mushroom Coral typically tend to grow on live rock, and will spread to other areas over time.

    Mushroom Corals are photosynthetic and will also benefit from other foods found in the water column. Supplementing a Mushroom Coral's diet with filter food such as baby brine shrimp will really help it flourish. Mushroom Corals can be rather aggressive to other coral, so there would be plenty of room between Mushrooms and other coral.

    Mushroom Coral tends to prefer low to moderate lighting and low flow environments. Mushroom Corals will typically not do well in super high flow or under extremely intense lighting. Mushroom Corals also come in a wild variety of colors and shapes as well.
