  • Description
  • The Rhodactis Mushroom is a stunning and super colorful mushroom coral. Rhodactis Mushrooms come in a host of colors from green to red. Rhodactis Mushroom corals can grow up to around 5 inches each.

Rhodactis Mushrooms should be placed at the middle to bottom of your tank. Rhodactis Mushrooms do best in low to moderate water flow and lighting. Once you have placed your Rhodactis Mushroom in the desired location, watch it over a day or two. If you start to see that the coral looks aggravated, try moving it to a new location by a few inches at first.

Rhodactis Mushrooms are very hard corals and are a good choice for beginners. Rhodactis Mushrooms are semi-aggressive corals and shouldn't be placed too close to other corals. Since Rhodactis Mushrooms can grow to a decent size and will also spread out, take this into account when placing a Rhodactis Mushroom.

Rhodactis Mushrooms should get most of their needed nutrition through the water column, but you can also supplement their diet. Meaty foods like mysis and brine shrimp as well as micro-plankton can be feed to your Rhodactis Mushroom in the evening hours.
