Description
The Midas Blenny is a stunning and very colorful small reef fish. Midas Blennies have a very long and slender golden yellow body with blue under its mouth and blue eyes.

Midas Blennies reach a maximum adult size of round 5 inches and can be kept in tanks as small as 29 gallons. Midas Blennies are very peaceful and will not bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes them a great addition to reef tanks. Midas Blennies might be more aggressive to other tankmates in smaller tanks though.

Midas Blennies have amazing personalities and act more like pets in your tank. They are constantly out and about in the tank and will come up to the glass if you approach the tank. For this reason, the Midas Blenny is one of our favorite fish. Having lots of live rock is great for a Midas Blenny as well, since it will need a hiding spot if it’s spooked.

The Midas Blenny is an omnivore and needs a diet rich in both meaty and green foods. Foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, small pieces of fresh seafood and marine algae will help your Midas Blenny flourish in your tank.
