  • The Banggai Cardinalfish is a very cute and interesting cardinal. Banggai Cardinalfish have a mostly white body with various silver and white spots. Banggai Cardinalfish also have three strong vertical black stripes.

    Banggai Cardinalfish reach a maximum size of around 3 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 29 gallons in size. Banggai Cardinalfish are semi-aggressive fish that shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. Banggai Cardinalfish can be kept in small groups, but in smaller tanks can get aggressive towards each other.

    Banggai Cardinalfish are nocturnal fish and won't be too active during the day. During the day Banggai Cardinalfish will probably spend the majority of their time in their territory. In the evening and night hours they will venture aground the tank giving your tank some movement at night. Banggai Cardinalfish are not strong swimmers and should not be kept with large overly aggressive fish.

    Banggai Cardinalfish are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Banggai Cardinalfish healthy and happy.
