  • Description
  • The Sleeper Gold Head Goby is a beautiful and colorful goby. Sleeper Gold Head Gobies have a mostly white body with a yellow head with strong electric blue markings.

Sleeper Gold Head Gobies reach a maximum adult size of around 7 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 40 gallons in size. Sleeper Gold Head Gobies are known jumpers, so it's important to only keep them in a tank with a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked. Sleeper Gold Head Gobies are peaceful fish and shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. Sleeper Gold Head Gobies might be aggressive to other non-pair gobies in smaller tanks though.

Sleeper Gold Head Gobies should not be kept in tanks with overly aggressive large fish, since they are not the best at defending themselves. Sleeper Gold Head Gobies will thrive when kept in tanks with a lot of live rock and sand in them. Sleeper Gold Head Gobies will spend most of their days going through the sand and rock looking for small inverts to eat between meals. Also Sleeper Gold Head Gobies will hide in the rock if they feel threatened.

Sleeper Gold Head Gobies are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Sleeper Gold Head Goby healthy and happy.
