  • The Colored Fusilier is a very colorful and rarely seen fish in home aquariums. Colored Fusiliers come in a variety of colors based on where they are found. They can range from yellow to silver.

    Colored Fusiliers reach a maximum adult size of around 15 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 220 gallons in size. Colored Fusiliers are peaceful fish and should get along with most other fish in your tank. Colored Fusiliers will eat pretty much all the inverts in your tank, so for that reason they are a bad choice to add to reef tanks.

    If you are keeping a large FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock) tank then the Colored Fusilier can be a stunning addition to your tank. Colored Fusiliers can be kept together in small groups, but should be introduced together. Smaller Colored Fusiliers should not be kept with large aggressive fish though, since they might be eaten.

    Colored Fusiliers are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp and high quality meaty frozen foods will keep your Colored Fusilier healthy and happy. When your Colored Fusilier gets larger, it is recommended that you feed it diet that consists of larger pieces of fresh seafood.
