  • The Long Tentacle Anemone is a stunning and interesting anemone. The Long Tentacle Anemone has very long tentacles extending from its center and can make a great addition to your tank.

    Long Tentacle Anemone can come in a variation of colors including white, purple, yellow and brown. With so many long tentacles, the Long Tentacle Anemone can easily be mistaken for other anemones. Long Tentacle Anemones can grow up to 20 inches and larger, but in most cases stay much smaller when in home aquariums.

    Long Tentacle Anemones prefer to be any areas of the tank where both the water movement and lighting are moderate. Long Tentacle Anemones are also great hosts for clownfish, although not all clowns will host in one. Long Tentacle Anemone can sting other anemones and coral that get too close, this should be taken into consideration when adding a Long Tentacle Anemone to your tank.

    Long Tentacle Anemones need a diet rich in meaty foods. Feeding them foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, as well as chunks of marine fish and inverts will really help them thrive.
