Description
The Coral Banded Shrimp is a stunning and large reef safe shrimp. Coral Banded Shrimp have a mostly white body with strong red bands. The Coral Banded Shrimp also have very long white antennae.

Coral Banded Shrimp can reach a maximum size of around 2 inches and can be kept in tanks that are at least 29 gallons in size. Coral Banded Shrimp are mostly peaceful shrimp and get along with most other inverts, fish and coral. Coral Banded Shrimp cannot be kept with other Coral Banded Shrimp. Coral Banded Shrimp have also been known to attack other shrimp species as well.

Coral Banded Shrimp are very interesting to watch and will often have their pinchers up, looking like a boxer. Coral Banded Shrimp are amazing scavengers and will make a great addition to your clean up crew. During the day and more so at night they will roam the tank looking for left over fish food.

Coral Banded Shrimp are carnivores and need a diet rich in meaty foods. If there is not enough food for a Coral Banded Shrimp in your tank, you can supplement their diet with foods like high quality flake or frozen foods.
