  • The Colt Soft Coral is a very elegant and beautiful soft coral. Colt Soft Corals tend to be tan to pink in color and grow out in a branching manner. Colt Soft Corals can come in many colors as well, so please make sure you pay attention to the color you have selected when adding one to the cart.

    Colt Soft Corals will do fine placed just about anywhere in the tank. Colt Soft Corals tend to like both moderate to high water flow and lighting. When you have placed your Colt Soft Coral in its desired location, just watch for signs of it being stressed. If it looks stressed, try to move it slightly to see if it looks happier a day or two later.

    Colt Soft Corals are semi-aggressive corals and have been known to sting neighboring corals and cause damage. Colt Soft Corals are relatively fast growers, so you need to take this into account when placing one.

    Colt Soft Corals get most of their nutritional needs through photosynthesis, so as long as they have adequate lighting, no additional food needs to be provided to them. If you would like to supplement their diet, you could add foods like baby brine or mysis shrimp and micro-plankton to the tank in the evening hours.
